Alexandra Bridge

Roller bladers, cyclists, pedestrians and vehicles can cross the Alexandra Bridge, which affords the best views of the Ottawa-Hull skyline, the Ottawa River and Parliament Buildings. The bridge crosses between Ottawa and Hull on the Ontario and Quebec sides respectively. There are only five public bridges crossing the Ottawa River in the capital, which is not enough to handle current vehicle volumes. As these are often under construction, it is best to make inquiries and allow plenty of extra time when driving across the river, especially during weekday rush hours.
